SandiaSpells Privacy Policy

SandiaSpells, formerly AffirMElon, helps create affirmations, voice audio, and listening tracks. This policy summarizes the app and backend data flows.

Processing

SandiaSpells can use local generation and synthesis where available. It can also use the SandiaSpells backend for cloud affirmation generation, hosted voice choices, voice design, voice cloning, synthesis, usage metering, and track rendering.

Provider API keys are stored on SandiaSpells servers, not in the app.

Data We Process

Depending on the feature you use, SandiaSpells may process:

• affirmation goals, style, intensity, locale, and generated affirmation text
• voice reference recordings you choose to upload for voice profiles
• generated clips, track render settings, and cached generated audio
• account, entitlement, subscription, quota, and usage metadata
• error, latency, provider, model, cost estimate, and diagnostic metadata
• local app data such as mood entries, habits, schedules, playback progress, and preferences

Providers

SandiaSpells may route backend requests to providers such as Fireworks for affirmation generation and ElevenLabs for hosted voice, voice design, cloning, or synthesis. Provider calls are made by the backend.

Caching And Quotas

Generated affirmations and audio may be cached to reduce latency, avoid duplicate generation, and control API cost. Usage metadata is used to enforce quotas and diagnose failures.

Local Data

You can delete local app data in Settings. This removes app-owned data from the current device, including local voice assets, generated audio, habits, schedules, notifications, and preferences.

To request deletion of associated backend records, follow the account and data deletion instructions.

Payments

Subscriptions and purchases may be handled by Apple StoreKit or another platform billing flow. SandiaSpells may store entitlement metadata so paid access can work across supported clients.

SandiaSpells is not a medical device, diagnosis tool, treatment service, or emergency support. Affirmations and audio tracks are general wellness tools for personal reflection. The word “spells” is creative framing for intentional affirmation practice and does not describe supernatural or guaranteed effects.
